CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation Policy: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for all appointments. If you are unable to make your appointment notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment, and your appointment will be released without any fee.

CANCELLATIONS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED VIA PHONE OR EMAIL. Cancellations and reschedules cannot be made or requested outside of these methods. Cancellations and reschedules are not valid if submitted via any other method outside of calling and speaking with our spa coordinator or through email. Social media of any kind affiliated with our spa and our online/offline chatting system are not acceptable avenues of communication for reschedules or cancellations.

  • Late cancels that notify us outside the 24-hour window will be charged a $50 late cancel fee for services or appointments $70 & under. Services or appointments over $70 will be charged 50% of the total cost of the services scheduled.

  • Late/last minute reschedules that notify us outside the 24-hour window will be charged a $50 reschedule fee.

  • Late canceling your appointment within 8 hours of the service will result in 50% of the service being charged. A No Call/No Show will be charged the full price [100%] of the service that was booked.

  • If card declines, you will not be able to book another appointment with us until you pay for missed appointment. We do this because we reserve your appointment for you and turn others away for that appointment time.

  • In regard to discounted services: the discount will automatically be removed, and you will be charged the full price of service for all No Call/No Show or Late Canceled appointments.

  • In regard to Plasmas Pen, Cosmetic (PMU) Tattoo, and Tiny Tattoo services: All booked plasma pen, cosmetic tattoo and tiny tattoo services require a deposit of 50% of the service cost at time of booking appointment. All deposits are non-refundable and cannot not credited or transfered to other services if you cancel your appointment. Rescheduling all plasma pen and tattoo appointments after the 24 hour policy will result in loss of deposit.

  • Reschedule with Deposits: One time courtesy reschedule with deposits. Any appointment that has a service that requires a deposit, deposits are consequence free for the first reschedule within the 24 hour Policy. A secondary reschedule of an appointment with a deposit will result in loss of that deposit. No exceptions.

  • Late Cancel of Plasmas Pen, Cosmetic (PMU) Tattoo, and Tiny Tattoo services: Should you late cancel you PMU appointment the day of the service, you will be charged 50% of the remaining balance.

PACKAGES. REFUNDS. GIFT VOUCHERS/CARDS

Packages

  • Packages are good from one year of date of purchase.

  • Packages are non-transferable and may only be used by one person. They may not be substituted toward other services. 

  • Packages are non-refundable.

Refunds

  • No refunds on services, packages or membership credits or gift card vouchers.

  • No refunds will be issued if you purchase prior to a consultation and the consultation dictates that the service you purchased a series for and yourself, or who you gift it to, are not a match made in skin/body heaven.

  • Vouchers for specific services cannot be used towards other services or towards retail purchases.

  • Vouchers/Gift Cards cannot be used in our online shops.

  • All retail sales are final.

Gift Card/ Vouchers [Black Friday/Holiday/Specials]

The Fine Print: Gift vouchers/cards are good from 1 year of date of purchase.

  • CG’s CAN be used to purchase drop ship products; but can NOT be used for shipping costs of products. Must be phoned in.

  • CG’s CANNOT be used towards Membership Credits, consultations or deposits

  • Black Friday/Holiday/Special Gift Cards, or gift cards purchased during Black Friday/Holiday/Special sales, CAN be used to purchase packages

  • Gift Cards CANNOT be used toward gratuity

GRATUITY

For any services or appointments of $300 or more, the minimum gratuity is 20%. This will be automatically applied to your ticket at close of sale.

For all PMU, plasma pen, and other services that require a deposit of 50% of the service at time of booking, a 20% gratuity will be charged for the total amount of the overall service at completion of the service.

Of course you are always welcome to leave more. More is always appreciated.

COVENANT OF CONDUCT OF THE LAIR

  • Covenant No. 1 : Don’t be a dick. (2 Articles)

Article 1: Respect is earned, not given. Common decency costs nothing. Rudeness, disruption, and disrespect towards staff and other clients will not be tolerated.

Article 2: Don’t be creepy. ‘Nough said.

  • Covenant No. 2 : Don’t be the White Rabbit. Please be on time.

We respect your time. Please respect ours. No calls/No shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Late Cancels will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. Please review our 24hr Policy.

  • Covenant No. 3 : Witches Order: Follow your aftercare.

We pride ourselves on being a results driven spa. If you are unwilling or neglectful with your prescribed aftercare, we are not the service provider for you. While some services may offer immediate results, nothing is overnight. Everything takes time. Even immediate results require patience, care, and maintenance.

  • Covenant No. 4 : This is not The Babysitters Club.

Our environment and children are NOT a match made in heaven. See our Policy on Children & Guests.

  • Covenant No. 5 : We do not condone counterfeit experiences or information.

    As transparency and honesty is expected of us, we expect the same of you. Our Skin Ritualists are licensed professionals and are constantly in practice of their craft. They have seen it all and know the signs. Please do not lie in attempts to get services.

  • Covenant No. 6 : “Please put on a clean shirt when you step outside your door. It’s an affront to the very delicacy of my nature”. - Noxeema Jackson- To Wong Foo…

No shirt. No shoes. No service. Pretty straight forward.

  • Covenant No. 7 : Homework of the adult world: Consent Forms are not optional.

Paperwork is non-negotiable. Consent forms are mandatory. Take that up with HIPPA. Not us. Not filling out the forms prevents us from performing services and prevents you from receiving.

Memberships

*For Lash Extension Memberships: Purchase of a full set of lashes with us is required to be eligible for lash membership pricing.

Memberships require a 3 month (90 day) commitment

  • There will be a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel before the 3 months of membership.

  • Payment will be auto drafted from a card on file on the same date every month.

  • Membership must be canceled at least 72 hours before your scheduled auto draft date.

  • If your membership auto draft declines, we will try to contact you (via email, membership notifications and/or calls) 3 times to bring your membership up to date. If we are unable to update your card on-file after the 3rd attempt, you will be removed from our membership program and there is a $50 reactivation fee to reinstate your membership.

  • For Lash Memberships; membership does not cover cost of initial full set of lash extensions, it only covers cost of 2 regular fills a month.

  • If you do not use your credit(s) they will roll-over to the next month.

  • Rollover-credits expire after 6 months from the date they were drafted; use them or lose them.

  • Lash Membership credits cannot be combined to go towards a new full set. If a full set is needed then a full set must be booked, completed and purchased.

  • Membership credits are non-refundable

  • Membership credits cannot be used toward other services

  • Membership is not shareable or transferable

  • Membership credits cannot be split

Children & Guests

  • We kindly ask to leave children at home.

  • We offer a relaxing environment, and it is distracting to other clients to bring children with you to your service. 

  • We do not allow guest in the treatment rooms. Guests may wait in our Lobby or in our Tea Room.

SMS and Email Terms of Services

When opted-in, you will receive text messages (SMS/MMS) to your mobile number. These kinds of messages may include offers, coupons, or other information [add additional description as needed].

  • You can opt-out of this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number. After you text “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or text “START,” and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

  • If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP.

  • Carriers, such as AT&T, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you.

  • If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.

  • If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our Privacy Policy listed above.

HGSW SMS Privacy Policy

  • We value your privacy and the information you consent to share in relation to our SMS marketing service, and email campaigns. We use this information to send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, appointment confirmations, appointment rescheduled and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us.

  • Opt-in data and consent for text messaging will not be shared with any third parties except for messaging partners, for the purpose of enabling and operating our text messaging program.

  • Our website uses cookies to keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your checkout. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

BOOKINGS & CONSULTATIONS

  • Bookings can be self-serve or you can call THE LAIR for appointments. Bookings will not be handled via social media. For new clients, any services that require consultations must be booked.

  • If you book a service that requires a consultation, a consultation will be added to your service and you will be contacted via email and/or phone about it.

  • All consultations are 15-30 minute in-person skin analysis. We do not do consultations over social media like instagram or Facebook. We do not do consultations via Zoom or any form of video media. Pictures may speak 1000 words but they do not truly tell us the depth of the state and condition of your skin.
